The PLASMA PROF 162 is a constant, direct current power source developed using "secondary-circuit Chopper" technology, with microprocessor-controlled cutting parameters and functions
Variable cutting current to achieve optimum cut quality
Automatic High Voltage/Frequency pilot arc striking eliminates problems during start-up
The power source is capable of recognising the type of torch connected, and automatically setting the appropriate safety devices
Using the optional interface P/N 197, it is possible for the pantograph computer to remotely control:
Arc striking
Arc transfer, with adjustable delay from 0 to 2 seconds
Arc voltage, (max. 10 VDC)
Digital or isolated analog cutting current setting
